Youth church starts at 11:00 a.m. on Sundays, for ages 5-17.  Please sign your children in between 10:45 & 11:00a.m. This minimizes the interruptions of the lessons once class has started and it helps you, the parent, get into the sanctuary on time. If a child is ill, (fever and /or vomits in the last 48 hours, upper respiratory infection), please refrain from bringing them to youth church. We appreciate your support.

Two Becoming One ministry’s current topic Happily Ever After! Topics include:  Picking “the one,” how me met, and dealing with conflict. We will discuss how to better our marriages God’s way! Everyone is invited to attend especially those who have a great marriage. Please come and share your secrets.

Woman 2 Woman Bible Study:  Our next study series is entitled, Every ‘Single’ One of You will begin on April 12th. We will explore the various ways certain distractions tend to divert our focus as we navigate through life’s highway towards the purpose God has designed for Every ‘Single’ One of You!  The following books will be used:  No Free Milk – The Proverbs 31 Woman Defined by Shea Cameron, How To Date and Stay Saved by Kimberley Brooks, and Understanding The Purpose and Power of Woman by Dr. Myles Munroe. Can’t wait to see you all there.

Attention Ladies!  It’s time to collaborate!  The women of GLCC have been cordially invited to attend Northern Nevada First Jurisdiction 6th Annual Women’s Conference at Rehoboth Holy Temple Friday, April 21 @ 7pm.  The guest speaker will be Evangelist Maria Gardner Langston.  Rehoboth Holy Temple is located at 700 C. Street Reno, NV 89502.  All women are encouraged to participate in this event; therefore, we will not have our normal women’s ministry general meeting on Friday, April 15.

Pastors, Ministers, and Leaders!GLCC will have its ministry picture day on Sunday, April 17th immediately following the 11am service. The pictures will be for our Church Brochures. Ministry leaders and group shots will be taken so please plan accordingly with your ministries.

Ladies! Please save the date for Joyce Meyers Ministries’ Sacramento Conference. It will be from July 28th through July 30th. More information to follow.

We are gearing up for our Annual Camping Trip scheduled for July 29th-31st. Please mark your calendars for a fun-filled time with competitions based on The Food Networks “Chopped”, also “Minute to Win it” and scavenger hunts for youth and adults attending. We are trying to get at least 50 attendees signed up to get a private area for GLCC only. It IS open to all families, BUT it is NOT a “drop your kids off” event. Please see Youth Pastors Min Micah or Darlene for details.
